Position Summary: The HEZ Director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight, leadership, and management of the South Providence 02905 Health Equity Zone (HEZ). Supervises the HEZ staff to ensure progress toward initiative activities and goals. The HEZ Director will engage community support/membership for the HEZ collaborative and any work groups. The HEZ Director will be responsible for attending all meetings with the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) and other partners relating to the HEZ initiative. The HEZ Director will ensure that all activities outlined in the HEZ Work and Evaluation Plans and Action Plan are implemented. The HEZ Director will be responsible for completing all required reports and will work in coordination with the Quality Improvement Committee on outcome measurement and data collection systems. The HEZ Director will be responsible for securing funding opportunities including assisting in writing grant/other applications.
