Summary

The Global Market Research & Insights team plays a pivotal role within IGT, supporting numerous internal functions and engaging directly with customers—particularly in the B2B space within the US market. This high-profile position drives success by focusing on three key areas:  
1. Market Research Execution: Coordinate and deliver actionable insights from the US market research program.  
2. Customer Engagement: Deliver contractual market research programs to lottery customers, building strong relationships and positioning IGT as an industry thought leader.  
3.  Internal Support: Provide tailored market research insights to sales and business development teams at jurisdictional levels.
 

Responsibilities

This position ensures robust market understanding across internal teams and lottery customers, focusing on delivering high-quality, impactful research projects on time and on budget. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Global Market Insights and counterparts focused on other markets (Italy and ilottery) to ensure a cohesive global approach. Core responsibilities include vendor management, research tool development, data analysis, survey design, and ensuring IGT’s role as a strategic partner in research initiatives. This role also maintains a database of secondary resources with overlaying industry insights. A continuous improvement mindset and technological innovation are essential to optimize processes and outputs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Manage and mentor the US Market Research team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Represent IGT as a thought leader in market research through industry events.  
2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across internal teams, including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Business Development. Align objectives and timelines for seamless execution.  
3. Primary & Secondary Research: Conduct both primary and secondary research to support decision-making in product strategy, game development, marketing communications, and ad hoc senior management initiatives.  
4. Direct Research Tools: Oversee tools like Agile Panel and Survey Monkey for quick feedback from conferences, workshops, and internal teams. Ensure high-quality results.  
5. Customer Relationships: Manage end-to-end customer research projects funded by IGT site operations and lead presentations to lottery stakeholders. Organize and facilitate the annual Marketing Insights Workshop for B2B customers and researchers.  
6. Vendor Management: Develop strong partnerships with research vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes and efficient processes.  
7. Knowledge Sharing: Host monthly departmental meetings to share insights and highlight successes across teams.  
8. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuously enhance tools and processes for greater efficiency and quality.  
9. Budget Management: Develop and monitor the annual US market research budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).  
  • 6–8 years of experience in market research or similar roles.  
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
