FSRI- Community Engagement Specialist (CES)

Position Summary: To plan and implement outreach and community partnership programming for CCBHC, Healing Division and FSRI as a whole. The CES will be responsible for locating, creating and tracking opportunities for outreach about FSRI services and optimize community supports for continued partnerships and referral sources. To build rapport with not only providers, but community members to be able to educate on eligibility criteria and basic expectations of all programs and combat stigma surrounding behavioral healthcare by being culturally competent, approachable and engaging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equal relevant experience required
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
- Spanish Speaking required and is compensated
- Flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8% above base pay.
Physical Requirements: This position requires community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Travel to and from community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
