Responsibilities
Responsible for aiding in the planning of security systems, implementing policy and identifying business processes that may violate corporate policies. He/she works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
The Security Architect is responsible for developing next generation security architecture in hardware/software design.
- Analyzes, designs, integrates and tests multiple systems in complex environments.
- Reviews system implementations.
- Lead the Security Incident Response function.
- Stays abreast of emerging security architectures and solutions and tracks industry standards, trends and practical problems with deployments.
- Incumbents possess in depth knowledge in secure systems engineering, cryptographic protocols, access control models, and secure operating systems.
- Incumbents are gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
- Incumbents are still occasionally directed in several aspects of their work.
- However more straightforward tasks are accomplished without assistance.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
- 12 years of work experience; 8 years of related experience is required.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961 - $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
