Responsibilities
This position is responsible for an analytics function which supports sales, strategic and marketing planning, product development, and Brightstar customer needs. This position will be primarily focused historical market and industry analysis, trend forecasting and recommendations, retailer analyses, sales forecasting and analyses, promotional analyses, market segmentation, marketing planning, customer consultation and support of primary research for new products and games.
• Works with the Account Teams in order to provide detailed and thorough market and content analysis on an on-going basis.
• Ensures the accuracy and quality of data.
• Identifies trends and relationships of variables in a dataset and make recommendations.
• Assists in the preparation of forecasts for new game launches, modifications, and existing or new lottery opportunities utilizing case studies and industry
trends.
• Works in cooperation with other analysts to maintain internal databases, create custom reports, and generate case studies and other such analysis in support of
customer/corporate development of marketing plans, product research and multiple other company objectives.
• Assists in the designs and administration of complex retail analyses for use in modeling for optimal site selection and retailer distribution and placement,
sales performance, market segmentation, product positioning, promotions, inventory management, product mix optimization.
• Interfaces directly with other internal departments, and site personnel to present analyses, results, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Assists in the development of strategic sales plans for current or potential customers through trend analysis, industry tracking, and best practice
benchmarking.
• Assists with analysis in order to support recommendation development, and presentations for selected customer accounts and products.
• Coordinates efforts with other marketing and site professionals to identify best practices for marketing, promotion, retailer development and distribution.

Qualifications
- BA or BS or equivalent with a quantitative concentration such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- 3-5 years corporate work experience.
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Technical proficiency and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong abilities in statistical and data analysis and excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Must have strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SQL, Python or R, or similar tools.
- Experience with dashboard development in Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
